Summer Internship Programs for undergraduate students

We are now accepting applications for two summer internship programs: the SMTB Alumni Summer Research Program - for SMTB alumni, and the Life Sciences Summer Internship Program - for applicants who are not SMTB Alumni. These programs provide funding for research internships in Life Sciences worldwide lasting from six weeks to three months during the summer of 2026. Applicants are required to secure a laboratory placement before applying. Bachelor and Master students who have not yet been accepted into a PhD program are eligible to apply.

Applications for both programs are accepted until January 15, 2026 and can be filled out here: Application form.

Applications will be reviewed and assessed separately for the two programs.
